Variable Data Printing Software

This is sure to turn the heads of anyone who's focussed on print, marketing, and allied professions: The world-leader - EFI - have just released their easy-to-use Variable Data Printing (VDP) solution, Fiery FreeForm Create ... and it's free!

FreeForm Create is a brand new, free, stand-alone visual VDP creation application that’s easy to use and works with all Fiery servers with Fiery FreeForm™ technology.

EFI Fiery FreeForm Create VDP Software

Quickly and simply personalise existing files for free in an intuitive interface, with no additional VDP software needed. Add variable elements such as text, images, and barcodes to PDFs with just a few clicks.

It’s ideal for applications such as business cards, envelopes, diplomas, calendars, postcards, booklets, direct mail, labels, parking passes, and so much more. And, Fiery server access is not required to use FreeForm Create. This can empower creative professionals and designers to lay out their own personalised files, which can then be provided to a print service provider (PSP) or in-plant print centre for production on a Fiery Driven™ printer.

Features

Two different workflows are available in FreeForm Create:

Variable data workflow:

  • Add personalisation to any existing PDF file with just a few clicks.
  • Drag and drop interface
  • Create source files using your design application of choice (Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel, etc)
  • Variable fields can be text, images, or barcodes
  • Change properties of variable fields, including font, size, orientation, colour, alignment, and more
  • See a visual preview of each variable data record and filter records by parameters such as the longest or shortest name

File merge workflow

  • Ideal for existing users of Enhanced FreeForm (through Fiery Command WorkStation Job Properties), who would like to merge their master and variable documents together in a more user-friendly way.
  • Create source files using your design application of choice (Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • See a visual preview of each variable data record
